Very successful and a valuable access to potential partners in the Humber region.
The response from participants joining Offshoreenergy.dk on the Offshore Wind Connections 2017 tour to the Humber Region in the east of England has been a pleasant read for Team Humber Marine Alliance and Offshorenergy.dk; the two cluster organisations behind the event.
Fifteen qualified match-making meetings between Danish and Humber based companies were held, with an emphasis on developing strategic partnerships.
Afterwards, participants evaluated the event as valuable. Kate Christensen, Sales Manager at Dynamic Ropes, says:
“We’ve established valuable and high-quality contacts to support our strategy for the offshore renewables sector in the UK. Offshorenergy.dk has a well-established network in the region and we have greatly benefited from this. By tapping into an existing network, we’ve been able to organise high quality meetings”, she says:
“Gustavo Ferraz de Luna has been super-professional in arranging meetings before and after the conference, in thinking strategically on our behalf and making sure we met relevant people, who we had not booked for meetings. He opened a lot of doors”, Kate Christensen says.
Participant Jimmy T. Kristensen, Head of Technical at World Marine Offshore, also had a profitable trip to the Humber Region:
“OWC 2017 has provided us with a great exposure to potential UK partners in a market we consider very strategically important. Offshorenergy.dk has been a valuable partner in opening doors for us in Grimsby and Hull and introducing us to a potential local collaboration partner in the Humber Region, which fits quite well ino our solution offering and aligns with our global strategy. Offshorenergy.dk has agreed to be a strategic partner for our internationalisation activities”, Kristensen says.
Offshoreenergy.dk will continue to work on building ties to one of the most interesting offshore wind regions in the world. If you want to understand the opportunities in the region or have suggestions for partnerships or visits, please contact Gustavo Ferraz de Luna, Project Manager at Offshoreenergy.dk.
