Meet leading business profiles on the stage, network and take part in the discussions about how the industry can overcome challenges through cooperation and innovation. Participate in Offshoreenergy.dk’s Annual Meeting 2016.
The main topic of Offshoreenergy.dk’s Annual Meeting 2016 is how the Danish offshore industry can overcome huge challenges through enhanced co-operation and innovation.
Two members of the management team from Maersk Oil & Gas and Siemens Wind Power will give their view regarding the opportunities that lie in ‘innovative thinking’ and the need for external innovation. The CEO from Ribe Jernindustri will tell us how he turned a severe budget deficit into surplus by thinking out-of-the-box. Those are just three out of a number of interesting presentations at Offshoreenergy.dk’s Annual Meeting that takes place 1 September 2016 in Esbjerg, Denmark.
This year’s theme is ‘How do the best get better – about co-operation and innovation in the offshore sector’.
“The theme reflects Offshoreenergy.dk’s mission which is to help the offshore industry solve huge challenges through enhanced co-operation and innovation. We do that by facilitating strategic partnerships between companies as well as companies and universities, GTS and other offshore stakeholders from the offshore ecosystem such as consultants and investors,” explains CEO in Offshoreenergy.dk, Glenda Napier.
She and her colleagues are very excited about the Annual Meeting. It will be a mix of inspiring input from a number of players in the offshore industry and discussions among Offshoreenergy.dk members and other participants about why and how to enhance collaboration and thereby become more competitive.
“We are very proud of the programme and look forward to hearing the presentations from some of our members and other players that contribute to making the offshore industry more competitive,” says Glenda Napier.
On the stage you will, among others, also find Bo Cerup-Simonsen, Director of the Danish Hydrocarbon Research and Technology Centre at DTU, CEO Niels Duedahl from SE, and Stephanie Lose, President of the Regional Council of Region of Southern Denmark. They will give the participants an update about latest research on Oil & Gas recovery, knowledge about one of Europe’s most ambitious entrepreneur prizes/ accelerator programme, and hopefully reveal some of the latest offshore statistics.
This year the Annual Meeting will be free-of-charge for members of Offshoreenergy.dk who are also invited to participate in the General Assembly, which is the last subject on the agenda.
