You still have the possibility to join our VIO-project that provides consultancy and financial support to small- and medium sized companies with growth potential and situated in the Region of Southern Denmark.
In a busy working environment, it can be difficult to identify the keystones which will enable your business to grow. But it might actually be worth some money, if you join our VIO-project.
“We have received 1,5 mio. EUR from the Region of Southern Denmark in order to help small- and medium sized companies realize their growth potential. About half of the amount covers the costs to help the companies analyse and identify where they need to focus in order to optimise their business and accelerate their growth. The other half of the amount pays up to half of the expenses to get a consultant to elaborate a sound growth plan for the company,” explains Head of International Projects and VIO-project leader, Mikkel Juul.
At the end of March, Offshoreenergy.dk jump-started the project at a kick-off meeting in Vejen, Denmark. 25 representatives from a number of companies attended the meeting. Among the participants was Head of Business Development Hans-Jørgen Riber from LICengineering, a design and consultancy company, working within the offshore and marine energy sector.
“I think that VIO is a great initiative and LICengineering is interested in participating in the project. We tend to concentrate on operating the company. To get help to analyse the strengths and weaknesses in our company and receive funding to get a consultant to elaborate a business plan would help us get a more strategic focus,” he says.
The gab-analysis is a great tool
Another participants at the meeting, Peter Dahlgaard from Holtec Automation already has experience with the gab-analysis tool provided to the firms in the project..
“When you are busy executing, you often forget to challenge yourself about how you develop your business. The gab-analysis was a great tool that helped us identify our strengths and weaknesses and provided us with a very good self-understanding. It also made us more aware of the market and the expectations, which was of great value for our growth – I can really recommend the tool,” says Peter Dahlgaard.
Until 1 May 2016, the project is still open for small and medium sized companies in the Region of Southern Denmark, with the will and potential to grow.
